Well at least David is coming down, that hangover must feel like coming to after a really bad drunk.

That poor girl that Adrian brought is so overloaded by now, just coming in the door must have her ready to throw herself at someone.

Lex and Katy should have lots of fun in New York, lots to see and do in that town. I hope katy cheers up a little bit though or she might bring Lex down.

ought to be:

“Your family is insane,” Gabby said, letting himself be led.

I think I remember seeing one other minor grammar/spelling error, but of course I can’t find it now. Otherwise, good chapter.

I like Sam’s clueless there at the end. So very “Guy” like.
And yes I remember Ann Rices stuff. Her earlier books I thought were the best. Once she went off on Lestat and the really old Vampires it got boring and weird.
Once more keep up the good work. I love how every one is working together(ish) now that David has gone nutso.

Caught the “sparkley” comment and went to where it should go. >.< (never read it and frankly, don’t want to , sorry ). When I think “vampire” I think Anne Rice (or Ameilia Atwater-Rhodes).
David is kinda starting to freak me out too but you’re developing this well. I’m just waiting for when the Rita=Heather’s mom bomb goes off ^-^

Wow David really over-stepped himself when he asked to turn Gabbie. At least he didn’t try to force his friend, he would have been shot or staked several times.

Eh, ya know? I tried reading some of Anne Rice’s vampire novels and had about the same reaction I had to the Twilight series. It was okay, not the worst thing I’ve ever read, but I’ve read (I think) much better vampire novels.

Good story, by the way. Sorry I’ve only commented like… once? I tend to just lurk in the background ^_^;;

My first comment~ I started reading this last night and have just caught up. Wonderful story thusfar. I did see that sparkly comment, and was highly entertained. And I agree with you that it is so very sad we lost Anne to Jesus. Lestat…well. *smiles* He is amazing, isn’t he? I really should have stopped to visit all of those times I drove past Anne Rice’s house, before she moved out of the city.

This is awesome. And yes I read anne rice. I love Lestat. Also great job of turnning David into Lestat, it was great. Again great story line and love the charactors.
