Over the weekend Sprite re-invented herself. She packed away all of her colorful or revealing clothes, leaving a scant wardrobe of black, white, and grey. She raided her mother and sister’s closets as well. I don’t need much, she told herself. Nuns don’t need much, ugly girls know not to bother. It’ll be perfect.
